In order to meet the needs for more high quality, safe and tasty sea products, Tokai Seapro has offices in major production areas primarily in western Japan, and supports producers in each area who have excellent farm-raising skills with the development and marketing of world-class, farm-raised fish.
Located in the town of Kamae in Saiki City in Oita Prefecture that boasts the largest production of farm-raised buri (adult yellowtail) and kanpachi (great amberjack) in the prefecture, our Oita Office and Kamae Factory obtain fresh raw fish fostered at offshore fishing grounds, where the warm Black Current of Bungo Channel richly flows, directly from producers and delivers it to our own preserves. Our FSSC 22000 certified factory has developed a system of real-time processing and shipping to achieve the highest quality of safely produced products.

The good flow of currents created by the unique terrain of Kinko Bay is the greatest characteristic of Tarumizu, which is one of the greatest fishing places of farm-raised kampachi (great amberjack) in Japan. Tarumizu Office and Tarumizu Factory bring in fresh raw fish fostered by the deep sea directly from the production area and aim to make high-quality, delicious fish in conjunction with excellent local producers. Our SQF certified factory has developed a system of real-time processing and shipping for both farm-raised and wild-caught fish for any product specification.

In Uwajima City in Ehime Prefecture, which is the Tokai Seapro’s base for feedstuff manufacturing and one of the greatest fishing places of farm-raised madai (red sea bream) in Japan, we have an office that serve two functions.

Feedstuff Management Department, taking charge of development to shipping of feedstuffs that affect the quality of farm-raised fish, is a factory specializing in making extruded pellets that has a spec of annually producing 15,000 tons of various frozen and room-temperature feedstuffs for fish including Soft EP, our patented product.
We maintain freshness using our unique manufacturing processes based on extruders that can be used for food manufacturing and large-scale tunnel freezers, and realize efficient production and stable supply. Aiming at further enhancement of quality, we also conduct research and development on a daily basis along with manufacturing.

The town of Hinase in Okayama Prefecture is a famous production area of oyster. Harima Fresh Division (Hinase Factory) handles oysters from this place that is blessed with mineral-rich sea. They have a system of shipping producer’s specialty one-year oysters (hanging baby shells on rafts for farm-raising in clean waters before they grow up in one year) as shucked raw material after obtaining them directly from the production area.
Additionally, in order to meet the needs of customers who want to sell them throughout the year, they also provide frozen oysters that are produced with a cutting-edge quick freezer.
The factory received FSSC 22000 certification in April 2018.
